Instead of regular ice cubes, prepare some spooky Halloween hand-shaped ice cubes to cool sangria. Fill up some vinyl gloves with water or fruit juice, close the opening with a thread or thin rope and place in the freezer. Once frozen, place glove in warm water, cut thread and remove ice from inside. It is important to wash the gloves before use, and to avoid latex gloves to prevent allergy issues.
If you want to add thickness to your sangria mix one teaspoon of xanthan gum in 1-2/3 cup of liquid with the help of a Magefesa blender.
Another fun way to serve your sangria is using tasting tubes. You can find them in specialized restaurant supply stores.
